Located in the heart of the picturesque Salento region of southern Italy, Alia Vita is a non-profit association dedicated to promoting biodiversity, wellbeing and sustainable living.

Alia Vita is a young association focused on ecological, health and circular economy activities in Italy, Europe and wherever we can make a difference.

We believe that everyone has the potential to contribute to a better future.

We welcome anyone who is interested in taking care of themselves, others and the environment through simple actions, according to their available time, inclination and resources.

Volunteerism and personal involvement are vital to any association. However, we also recognise that green-minded people with limited time can "do their bit" like the hummingbird* by sponsoring specific initiatives** or attending one of our health retreats to combine purpose with pleasure.

Myriam Burri, Director

Myriam is a nutritionist, naturopath and TCM doctor who has worked in the humanitarian sector for years. Her master's in environmental medicine & passion for health and biodiversity has led her to develop treatments in harmony with nature.

Cesare Ciardo, President

Cesare was born and raised in Gagliano del Capo, Salento. He has been an independent chartered accountant in Geneva since 1995. Passionate about circular economy issues, he brings his years of experience to the association and its activities.

Monir Fulayfil, Consultant

With 25+ yrs' experience in global finance, Monir combines expertise in SWFs with a mission to make a meaningful impact on society and the environment. Monir loves Salento, and is dedicated to protecting its beauty and cultural heritage.

Sunshine B. Creative Consultant

An olive grove owner and oil producer in Puglia, Sunshine B is a talented young artist based in Japan where he heads the  Google studio for startup. He brings his expertise and innovative approach to our projects.
